
Mandy Williams
Mandy Williams, a talented British actress, audiobook narrator, vocalist, and, has truly made her mark in United States since her arrival in 1996. Hailing from Essex, England, she graduated from the prestigious Italia Conti Academy for Performing Arts in 1993. Mandy then ventured to Florida, where she captivated audiences as a dancer, singer, and actress at renowned venues like Disney World, Epcot Center, and Universal Studios. In 2006, she relocated to the West Coast, further expanding into commercials, television, film.
Mandy made her entrance into the world of audiobook narration in 2010 with/Random House Publishing, quickly gaining recognition for her exceptional talent. She achieved a significant milestone by winning a Society of Voice Arts and Sciences Award for her captivating performance in “How To Catch A Bogle,” surpassing even Kate Winslet. Additionally, her narration of “Shadow Scale,” the sequel to “Seraphina,” earned her an AudioFiles Earphones Award and a on AudioFiles Best Audiobook of the Year list. Mandy's journey in audiobook narration has been marked by prestigious accolades and a passion for storytelling.
Mandy's unwavering passion for everything performing arts and creativity has her wearing many hats....simultaneously! As you will see in the following pages, she continues to narrate, sings in a band, writes children's books, is a Washing Well Wench in a 2 woman comedy duo, and she recently debuted her one-woman show which she wrote and directed and continues to tour throughout the US and Canada. Born in Chicago Illinois, David has been involved in
many different aspects of the music business. As a
guitar player and vocalist, his touring and gig credits
include Bobby Kimball (TOTO), Melissa Manchester,
Bo Didley, Badfinger, The Four Tops, Little Anthony
and many more. He has opened for acts such as Rod
Stewart, Hootie and the Blowfish and the Eagles’
Glenn Frey to name a few.
David made his silver screen debut as a member of
the New Main Street Singers in the Christopher Guest
comedy, “A Mighty Wind,” starring Eugene Levy and
Catherine O’Hara and also appeared on the Academy
Awards with Eugene and Catherine as they performed
their Oscar nominated song. “A Kiss at the End of the
Rainbow.”
David was featured musician on the Mighty Wind
soundtrack and was recognized by the National
Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences for his
guitar and vocal work on the soundtrack. David also
appeared in the Christopher Guest comedy “For
Your Consideration."
